High West Distillery – ‘American Prairie: TET Barrel Pick’ Single-Barrel Bourbon Finished in Peated Scotch Barrels (750ML)
This bourbon is a blend of two bourbons. One has a Mash bill of 75% Corn, 21% Rye, and 4% Barley Malt from MGP; the other has a Mash Bill of 84% Corn, 8% Rye, and 8% Malted Barley from an undisclosed source.
After the whiskies – aged between 2 years and 13 years – are blended, they were then aged in used Peated Scotch barrels for a further 13 months and bottled at 100.2 proof.
The final product, hand selected by The Epicurean Trader, has notes of dark chocolate, burnt marshmallow, and briny peat.
